Ivy tried to explain to Achilla and Analae about her visions, but they didn't think they were real. They thought she was hallucinating and forced her to go to bed.
The moment they were gone she snuck out of the treehouse and went to the creek. "Why do they treat me like a six year old after all we've been through?" she asked angrily to herself. Then her vision turned black, then slowly focused in on something, someone. It was certainly not Dawn. And Ivy could hear it now...
(Out of story) By the way, it was kinda hard to make every Dawn have not- in front of it, so if you see any missing ones try to understand. (Back to story)
"Dawn, you must hurry, supper will be ready shortly,” a maid said to what seemed to be Dawn who sliced a dummy in half.
“Tell the cook I won't be ready until later this evening! And that he's lucky to be alive!” Certainly-not-Dawn, definitely-not-Dawn, anything-but-Dawn yelled at the maid who nodded and walked out of the training arena.
“Good job Dawn, I can see you are getting better with the sword,” Calypso said to whatever it was. It that was not Dawn wiped the sweat from her forehead and exhaled heavily.
“I don't need praise! I know I am good!” Not-Dawn yelled at Calypso who smiled and nodded. “Dawn, I can see you have changed greatly. What about your family? Do you feel anything for them?” Calypso asked Not-Dawn who scoffed.
“Them? They are nothing but weaklings that would kill themselves to save another. And Ivy, she's the worst. She would do ANYTHING to keep me safe. I mean, she is my older sister, but really? Giving up YOUR life to save someone else? Please give me a break,” Dawn replied and Calypso smiled, proud. “Your heart has become black like the night. You are worthy of being called my second in command.” Calypso said. Dawn looked her in the eye and nodded. “What shall you have me do? The town is burned to the ground, my family means nothing to me anymore. And I have nothing to do,” Not-Dawn stated. “I have something that you can do,” Calypso said and led not-Dawn into one of the many studies and told Dawn her plan. . . .
"Are you ready?” Calypso asked Not-Dawn who was in her archer clothes. “Ready,” not-Dawn replied and Calypso smiled. Not-Dawn climbed the ladder that led into the treehouse where Achilla, Ivy and Analae were. “You do know, Achilla, it's not your fault that Dawn disappeared. I mean it's been five months! She could be dead for all we know!” Analae said to Achilla who nodded.
“I know but-” Achilla was cut off by a knife running across her arm. “GAH!!!” Achilla yelled. Not-Dawn kicked Achilla in the back causing her to bash her head against the wood floor.
“IVY! WE NEED-” Analae was cut off by not-Dawn knocking her out with a wooded staff.
"I told you that they are weaklings,” Still not-Dawn told Calypso who nodded. “I never doubted you.” Not-Dawn walked down the hallway and stopped in front of Ivy's room.
“My sister's room, to bad it has to burn” Not-Dawn said. She lit a match and rolled it under the door. She saw the light grow and smiled.
“Sorry sis, but your time is up,” Not-Dawn said. Calypso chanted a spell and they disappeared back to the Castle while the tree house burnt to the ground...
Ivy sat up suddenly, eyes wide. "ANALAE!"
